Computer scrap has an undeterminable amount of gold. This enables sellers to charge, and get, from two to ten times what the scrap is worth in terms of the amount of gold that it contains. This video shows that it's not easy to get the gold and that the amount of gold yielded is very low. Now you have a place to look BEFORE you spend your hard-earned money on this kind of over-priced scrap.

What If we added the whole amount of hydrochloric acid at a time (I mean no time gaps between the first and second amount) And the same for hydrogen peroxide. Would that effect the process.?
Carlos Herrera - 18.01.2020
Can't you burn all that instead??
BigBadBoogie - 18.01.2020
bleach and acid = chlorine gas. While fun to watch, dont do this at home unless You know chemistry and want to keep Eyes intact
Matt Timson - 17.01.2020
Not something I think I'd ever want to do- but I found it fascinating!
Se7enACK - 17.01.2020
Cool process, but you are looking at 50 bucks for 3 days worth of work and that's not including the material costs.

We used to do basically the same thing in AZ on a mine my family owned but we used cyanide to dissolve the gold then ran it through a carbon filter and burned off the carbon.

pilllvlllp - 14.01.2020
These youtubers are real gold miners...if you know what I mean of course!
Brian Richards - 13.01.2020
The video was awesome! But...you have to do that 28 times to get an oz. or $1,400. I'm guessing 18 hrs. per batch X 28 batches working 8 hours per day would take about 63 days to get 1oz. Personally, not worth it to me but...great video.

21:17 😂 all that work for that .
Some Guy - 13.01.2020
Guy you should have a warning were you are pouring the bleach into acid im pretty sure you are producing chlorine gas doing that. Which can do permanent lung damage or flat out kill someone if they don't know about it. Im no chemist but even i know that much. One of your steps might as well be to make mustard gas. Still cool video.
DanburyDK - 13.01.2020
Cool video. I have lots of pc crap to donate to you!
